Managing Director
Tony is increasingly in demand for his work in forensic investigation of construction defects from building owners and Contractors alike. As well as leading Hickton, arguably the country’s premier Clerks of Works practice, Tony also uses his skills and knowledge within the wider community and has recently been awarded the “Outstanding contribution to Barnsley” trophy. As Chairman of the Red Tape Team for Yorkshire and the Humber, combined with Directorships at Barnsley Chamber of Commerce and Barnsley Development Agency, Tony led delegations to the House of Commons and European Parliament as part of the British Chambers of Commerce initiative.
Director
Bob has wide experience of construction management and technical reporting as well as specialist expertise in concrete repair, stonework restoration and industrial flooring. He has operated for many years at director level in specialist contracting and supply. Bob is also a skilled estimator and CDM Coordinator.

Director (Company Secretary)
Peter has been in construction for over 45 years and developed his career from site management to college lecturer in construction technology and then onto applied information technology and computer aided design. He also has many years of experience as a Clerk of Works, much of it in the refurbishment of listed property, and has used his skills in IT to develop bespoke information systems for the company.
Jane Verrall Director
Jane is an English graduate with a substantial background in management, education and training. She recently passed the IOD diploma in Company Direction with distinction. She is responsible for maintaining and developing strategic planning, marketing and HR as well as the Company’s ISO quality and IiP accreditations. |
