Hickton played an important role in creating the magnificent Sage Headquarters near the thriving city of Newcastle. This dramatic company HQ provides an ergonomic working environment for the 21st century.

Jim Bell. One of Hickton's highly skilled Clerk of Works, was a key member of the project team. He supported the whole team’s commitment to outstanding design, build quality, ecological integrity and economic performance and ensured that highest standards were consistently maintained.



Scarborough Police Station

Our Client – North Yorkshire Police
Value - £4 million

This project enabled valuable operational developments for Police personnel, providing excellent regional facilities for training, conferences and administration in a central HQ. The project was carried out in four phases over 78 weeks in order to minimise disruption.

Steve Almond and John Ablett were Clerks of Works on site to cover both building works and mechanical and electrical installations. Through careful planning and co-ordination the Police Station remained fully operational throughout the extensive programme.
