St Helen’s Church of England School was rapidly outgrowing its existing accommodation. Tony Noyce, one of Hickton's Clerks of Works became part of the team cooperating closely with the Diocese to ensure the new building met the needs of staff, children and the environment.

Tony’s role involved inspecting all elements of the project and continued Hickton's fine tradition in the education sector.

This pioneering centre is sited at the Christie Hospital in Manchester and will serve thousands of patients every year. It was essential that the four-storey, 3600m² building met exacting specifications and standards.

Barry Mathers worked as Clerk of Works with the project team to deliver a building that has fulfilled its design potential and created worldwide interest.
