Tony Hickton MICW, MCMI, MICM, ACIOB, FFB
Managing Director

As well as leading Hicktons to its multiple award-winning position,
Tony Hickton takes an active role in supporting and encouraging the development of good business practice in the Yorkshire region.

He is Chairman of the Red Tape Team for Yorkshire and the Humber,
a body that aims to break down the demands of bureaucracy and thus assist businesses to generate business more effectively.

Tony also holds Directorships at the Barnsley Chamber of Commerce
and the Barnsley Development Agency.

		Bob Littlewood, MRICS, MCIOB Director
		Bob has wide experience of construction management and technical reporting and has specialist expertise in concrete repair and industrial flooring. He has operated for many years at director level in specialist contracting and supply. Bob is also a skilled estimator and planning supervisor.

		Peter Newton LICW, ACIOB Director
		A highly skilled site agent and college lecturer in Construction. Peter has developed his career as a specialist in applied information technology. He also has many years of experience as a Clerk of Works and is an experienced planning supervisor. He has particular expertise in the refurbishment of old property.

		Jane Verrall, BA, PGCE Director
		Jane is an English graduate with a substantial background in education, training and management. She is responsible for maintaining and developing HR, marketing and strategic planning as well as the Company’s ISO quality and IiP accreditations. Jane is pivotal in driving forward Hicktons’ core commitment – working in partnership with clients and staff to agree and achieve clear goals and values. Her work helps to secure a consistently high standard of service that exceeds clients’ expectations.
